11—Justice

Justice

"Balance and Belief"

What do you truly believe?
Our world is really focused on justice these days but what does it mean? In the Tarot it can mean a focus on the alignment of values and integrity. Do your actions reflect your true beliefs? Are you doing what you think you are doing? Are you being the person you claim to be? These are the same questions we are asking our culture and society and institutions — and for good reason. The Justice Card says take a good long look in the mirror of authenticity.

Wow, that sounds heavy.
We talk a lot about authenticity these days, why? Why do we need it so much? Because it actually makes life easier. All the ways we avoid out inner most truths is what makes things complicated, confusing and messy. When we step into true authenticity we actually feel a burden lift. It's always easier to just be ourselves.

It can take a while to get to know yourself for sure. The Justice Card supports you to start or continue on that path. It promises the peace that comes from the balanced of the "scales of justice." We feel that equilibrium, that settled place inside ourselves that feels just right.

But justice is also vigilant. Once we are on a path of authenticity we have to stay on it. This is a commitment but it's a BEAUTIFUL one.

Truth is a high standard and not everyone can meet it. Yes, you will draw those to you who can handle your new authentic commitment to real truth. Yep, all the phonies will fall away, so prepare yourself for an emotional house cleaning.

And then dance dance dance in your newly reclaimed space where you can be exactly who YOU are.
