Judgement
"Sound the Call"
One of the many decks I have used over my 2 decades of professional Tarot reading called this card “Discernment.” I think it really fits. This is the card of separating the wheat from the chaff—making the measured and calculated decisions. And sticking to them. I can’t say this is a fun card. It’s a little intimidating, even. I mean it evokes “judgement day” and how ever you see this (religious, legal, competitions, etc.) any judgement day is a big day—no matter what side you find yourself on.But first, let’s look at those trumpets on the card. It’s the trumpets I like lately.
I am sure this card has been interpreted in many modern ways that don’t include the dead bodies rising out of the graves that are depicted in the Rider-Waite-Smith deck. And I can’t argue with that. It’s a little creepy. But I do love the trumpets. Why? Because they sound the call. And you need to sound that call now too.
You: What Call? What are you talking about LC? I need you to be specific.
Yeah, okay. Here’s specific.
Who do you want in your life and who needs to go?
Time to make some choices. Cut the dead weight, cut loose whatever is slowing and dragging you down. Use the Ace of Swords if you have to.
And then sound the call. Who DO you want in your life? What kind of people are going to benefit you and support you to have a healthy and prosperous path? Start imagining your life filled with the RIGHT people, places, things, activities and you know… life.
Then start living it. Start saying it. Start doing the things that will bring that life to you. Begin the novel. Apply for those kinds of jobs. Dig the hole in the ground where the garden should go. Put $5 in savings towards a new house and see how that inspires you. Take some steps to what you really want. Let the universe know you are serious. Pick up the trumpet. Sound the call.
And sound it LOUD so the right people hear you and join you. And so the wrong people run away, hopefully quickly, and never come back.
Imagine who you are.
Say who you are.
Be who you are.
That’s what Judgement is calling you to do.
